Nate had overcome addiction as a young teen and was in recovery with the help of treatment and a peer recovery coach.
He went on to play football in high school earning MVP on defense. Afterward, Nate studied Addiction Studies at Oxnard College and became a Certified Fitness Trainer at Gold's Gym.
More than anything though, Nate was a most empathetic, compassionate individual.
Nate constantly checked in on people who were struggling with mental health or substance use issues.
He told them to Never Give Up and that they were loved…
Our Mission - To deliver targeted programs including 1:1 peer support recovery coaching, healthy replacement activities and group counseling, education and support to at-risk teens and young adults (ages13-25) who are at risk of substance misuse, substance use and/or mental health challenges, and are striving to attain and maintain sobriety and stable mental health, in a safe, healthy manner.
