Participants receive an initial Intake with a Clinician and then meet with a trained Peer Support Recovery Coach, a young adult who has their own lived experience in recovery.

WHO ARE PEER SUPPORT RECOVERY COACHES
Have at least 1 year of lived experience in recovery from substance use and possible mental health issues.
Have been trained in substance use, mental health and other trainings including 80 hours of Peer Specialist Training.
Meet participants where they are; help them develop and reach their personal goals.
Take a non-judgmental approach, having been there themselves.
Meet one on one with each participant 2 to 4 times a month (weekly or bi-weekly), encouraging them in their recovery and assisting in identifying at least 2 healthy recreational activities to participate in on a regular basis.
At times, may accompany participants in recreational activities, various outings or 12-step meetings in the community.
Facilitates Group Counseling and Education Groups.
